Overview

Many of the decisions regarding auditing configuration will be determined at the production site. This includes configuring what will be audited, where the audit data will be stored, how audit policies will be created and maintained, how the audit data will be maintained, and how the audit data will be reported upon.

This section describes the tasks that are likely to occur at the production site; the information is addressed to the application developer, who can pass it along to customers.
